Staff

The director/teacher, Gisa Nico, has her Master's degree in special education and a teaching credential in California. With ten years of experience in the field of education, she has not only served as a public school teacher, but also as an educational therapist for students in middle and high school. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) as well as the Lakewood/Long Beach Family Child Care Association and the California Association for Family Child Care (CAFCC). She is committed to continuing her professional growth by attending conferences and continuing to take educational courses.
